Problem Context

From minor maintenance to a critical business platform

The project with SegurCaixa Adeslas (SCA) began in 2021 with a small team of 7 people responsible for maintaining and developing minor enhancements to the Adeslas Salud y Bienestar app. That initial engagement was the gateway to a collaboration that, four years later, has evolved into a complete digital ecosystem managed by a team of 27 professionals, spanning both technology and design roles.

Today, Garaje supports and evolves not just the original app, but also key assets such as the global user dashboard, registration module, public website, central pricing engine, and other mission-critical systems.

The Challenge

From Technical to Human: Building a Solid, Trust-Based Partnership

Challenge 1: Expanding technical coverage without losing focus

We moved from managing a single hybrid application to handling multiple platforms and technologies (Angular, Ionic, middleware, backend…), while maintaining quality and meeting delivery deadlines across all fronts.

Challenge 2: Scaling the team with specialized talent

The growing complexity of the ecosystem required us to onboard new profiles with expertise in different environments, tools, and methodologies—without losing team cohesion or culture.

Challenge 3: Becoming a true partner

We didn’t want to remain just technical executors. Our goal was to integrate strategically with SCA, provide vision, lead critical deliveries, and take on responsibilities as if we were part of their internal team.

Process

Consolidation and Layered Growth

Phase 1: Launch of SCA’s first public website

We developed SegurCaixa Adeslas’s corporate website from scratch using Drupal, a completely new technology for the client. The challenge was substantial: to build a solid foundation without compromising on time or quality.

Phase 2: Scaling without sacrificing standards

As our responsibilities grew, we maintained (and even raised) the bar in terms of delivery, timelines, and service quality. We implemented processes to ensure operational efficiency, even with five times the initial workload.

Phase 3: Full coordination and visibility

We positioned ourselves as a key point of reference between SCA and its other vendors. We led production deployments, coordinated workflows across systems, and ensured seamless interoperability within the digital ecosystem.
